Karate students receive scholarships

Jamshedpur: Shihan L. Nageshwar Rao, General Secretary, Jharkhand State Karate Do Association (JSKA), stated that 50 karatikas of Jharkhand (both boys & girls) have received Scholarships from Govt. of Jharkhand for achieving Medals in State Level & National Level tournaments. The Scholarship amount was Rs. 36,000/- to Rs. 72,000/- and the total Scholarship amount was Rs. 18,72,000/-.

Sensei Pankaj Kumar, Joint Secretary, JSKA told that this is the first time that such a huge scholarship amount has been given to karatikas who have won medals in State & National Level championships. Sensei Pankaj Kumar further told that this is the effort of Shihan L. Nageshwar Rao, with whose efforts the scholarships were given to Karatikas.

Shihan Nagehswar Rao also worked hard to include Karate in School Games. Rao said that Karate is world famous and he will work hard for the betterment of karatikas of Jharkhand so that they can more and more facilities and help from Govt. of Jharkhand. The names of the karatikas who got the Scholarship are as follows :-

Tinku Kumar Mahato, Sujeet Kumar Mahato, Naresh Purti, Raj Kumar Barik, Abhishek Chaurasia, Shivan Kumar, Vishwajit Gope, Madhu Kumari, Kumari Namrata, Vikram Sanga, Ashish Kumar, Sanjay Kumar Laguri, Sajan Hessa, Jayram Purti, Maheshwar Mahato, Abhinit Tiwari, Prakash Kumar Rajak, Suman Kumar Birua, Parwati Soren, Sunanda Sinku, Deepti Bodra, Kavita Jena, Padmini Deogam, Asha Hessa, Taru Lata Kumari Pan, Savitri Sirka, Binoti Kumari Napit, Sukhmati Laguri, Archana Das, Menka Birua, Janki Haiburu, Minakshi Kudada, Kavita Mundari, Jayanti Sinku, Shakuntala Biruli, Madan Purti, Suman Mundari, Sanjay Gagrai, Arun Deogam, Harish, Manoj Kumar Sundi, Pankaj Biruli, Jagjivan Biruli, Amar Singh Tubid, Manish Pariya, Turi Sinku, Manjeet Singh Baipoi, Sneha Salomi Balmuchi, Subhani Sinku, Sau Sundi etc.
