Chandil: A meeting of villagers of Khunti, Palastand, Musribera and Kedardih was held at Musribera Hari Mandir on Sunday.
The meeting was presided over by the former mukhiya of Musribera Umapad Mahato. It was convened to discuss problems being faced by local farmers in irrigating their farms.
The villagers said they were not getting water from Palna reservoir. As a result, the agricultural activities had taken a beating, they said.
The villagers alleged that the officials of Swarnarekha Multi-purpose Project did not give positive response to them when they went to meet them.
