Jamshedpur, Dec 31: Former Chief Minister Raghubar Das here arrived in the city on Tuesday from Ranchi via NH33. He was accorded welcome by party workers at his Agrico residence. More than 100 party workers were present at his residence. They included Kulwant Singh Bunty, Gurdev Singh Raja, Gunjan Yadav, Bhupendra Singh, Chandrashekhar Mishra and Pawan Agrawal.
Das motivated party workers disappointed with the electoral defeat of BJP and praised them for their hard work and dedication. He asked them not to be dismayed by the results of the recently-concluded state Assembly elections. He said victory and defeat were part and parcel of elections. He said the BJP will make a comeback to power in Jharkhand in the days to come. He said he had served the people of Jamshedpur East Assembly constituency and the rest of Jharkhand for five years. A time will come when the people of Jharkhand will once again give BJP a chance to form government, he said.
Das will meet party workers and other citizens at his residence tomorrow. He will stay over at his residence tomorrow. Discussions would be held regarding the annual picnic of Jamshedpur Mahanagar BJP between 10th January and 15th January, party sources said.
Meanwhile, Jamshedpur Mahanagar BJP is soon going to shift to a new building in Sakchi. The new office may be inaugurated after 14th March.
