Ranchi : Chief Minister Raghubar Das today said youth power was the real power of the nation. Addressing a gathering of the youth at Harmu Grounds here he said that 65 per cent population of the people was that of the youths. “Earlier no one cared much for the youth but it was under Prime Minister Narendra Modi that a separate skill development ministry was formed to enhance the skill of the youth. Through the skill development programme the youth are being linked with jobs. In Jharkhand work is on to enhance the skills of 20 lakh youth of the state,” he said.
Das said for the development of New India and New Jharkhand all social organisations needed to make their contribution. He suggested the members of the organisation to adopt any village of the tribals or dalits and help in their development.
The CM further said that eradication of poverty was a top priority for ‘New Jharkhand’. He said there was a need to make change in the though process as the world was changing at a fast pace. He said if the people and society do not change than they would fall behind. He went on to add that people should always think about giving back to the society as if the society moves forward than the nation would move forward.
The event was also attended by Daltonagnj MLA Alok Chourasia, Bihar MLA Sanjeev Chourasia, former MLA Rameshwar Chourasia and others.
