Ranchi :The winter session of Jharkhand Assembly is starting tomorrow. Preparations for the session which will continue till 20th December have been made.
The Opposition parties have planned to question the government on various issues including the auction of sand ghats, mysterious disappearance of arms from the possession of bodyguards of minister, domicileissue, grant to madarasas, utilization of budget and demand for inclusion of various castes in the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe category.
The government also seems prepared to present the supplementary budget and many other Bills. A total of five meetings are to be held during the winter session.
The Speaker of Jharkhand Assembly Shashank Shekhar Bhokta today convened a meting of the leaders of legislative groups. While on one hand, the ruling parties have completed preparations, the Opposition parties too, have tightened their shoelaces to raise issues vociferously.
Security arrangements have been tightened ahead of tomorrow’s session inauguration. Barricading has been done on various routes leading to the Assembly.
