Earlier on Wednesday, Chief Minister Raghubar Das constituted a two-member team to probe into the closure of Jamshedpur-based Tayo Rolls Limited.
He also asked the secretary and director of the state industry department to look into it and submit a report at the earliest.
The Chief Minister’s decision came hours after former chief minister and senior BJP leader Arjun Munda met Das and sought his intervention with regard to the decision of closure of Tayo Rolls, a subsidiary of Tata Steel, situated at Gamharia in adjoining Seraikela Kharswan district.
Tayo Rolls is over a fivedecade old company which is a metal fabrication and processing company headquartered at Jamshedpur.
