Ranchi: Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that he would spend two days every month in each district and listen to the problems of people through holding Janta Darbar.

He was taking to the media at State BJP office today after taking part at a Janta Darbar held today.

Speaking on holding investors’ meet in Jharkhand on the lines of Vibrant Gujarat Das said that Jharkhand has more opportunities than Gujarat.

During Vibrant Gujarat conference Raghubar Das met with more than 70 NRIs who had expressed their willingness for investments in the sector of IT, mining and medical.

He expressed the hope that Jharkhand would be more popular than Gujarat. He said that Jharkhand would chalk out its development roadmap like other BJP-ruled States.

The CM went on add that BJP is a cadre-based party and they had played a crucial role in bring BJP in power in Jharkhand. He would hold direct talks with the party activists every month and would try to sort out people’s problems with the help of party members.

Das said that he would meet party members every Saturday and issue directives concerning people’s problems.

Das on the occasion said that he was aware of the fact that BJP party cadres make rounds at Project Bhavan to meet him. For their convenience he would meet the party members at BJP party headquarters in Ranchi, he said.

Speaking further the CM said that the government would have to prepare the budget for the new financial year 2015-16 and chalk out development projects. Therefore, he would allocate more time for carry out official work while set aside one day for the party cadres.

Raghubar Das said that solutions to people’s problems ought to be sorted out at local level so that people do not have to reach Ranchi for the purpose.

“After the budget session is over I would visit district headquarters with senior officials and listen to people’s problems. Nodal officials would also be recruited for the purpose. I would also sit at Dumka at chief minister’s secretariat once a month,” Das said.
