Ranchi: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha took a leap on Tuesday by adopting an online platform to pave way for modernization. Chief Minister Hemant Soren and party president Sibu Soren jointly inaugurated the official website of the party (www.jharkhandmuktimorcha.org) at a function organized in the state Capital.
Addressing the gathering on the occasion, the CM said the website will give useful update on the organizational history of JMM, its various phases, political aims, party’s constitution and photographs. A brief information about the past and present leaders of the party will also be there on the website, said Chief Minister Hemant Soren, who accompanied his father during the function.
The CM said the digital platform had its own uniqueness and importance in the modern world. He said the party had stepped onto the information highway in a bid to keep itself at pace with the fast changing technology. He said the website was the need of the hour.
Addressing party workers, Sibu Soren said there was need for the party to be aware of latest technology and at the same time beware of new challenges. He said the state should get the benefits of its rich natural resources. He said the next generation should be given the benefits of present resources.
Party general secretary Supriyo Bhattacharya said missed call and helpline numbers of the party had also been made available for the people to know about the party. The CM also inaugurated the JMM’s facebook and twitter accounts on the occasion.
