Ranchi, Jan 21: The foundation of development is based on trust. Otherwise,
no strong building is possible.
Assembly building will be erected on trust. Chief Minister Hemant Soren said this today after laying the foundation stone of the Assembly building in the Core Capital area.
He said it was after a long time foundation for the temple of democracy has been laid in
It will be a historic structure. He said in the government was serious to the problems of local villagers.
He assured that the Assembly building will be erected after resolving them. He said that cooperation of all is needed for the construction of the building.
Smiling faces and solution to the problems of all will the real success of the Jharkhand assembly building, he said.
Assembly Speaker Shahansk Shekhar Bhokta said that Assembly in parliamentary democracy system
had an important status.
Not only the Jharkhand Assembly building would be the best among assembly buildings in the country but it should turn out be the best in work culture as well.
The new buildings would have all the facilities for the elected members which they would
be able to use for the good of the people.
Our problem is not that of resources but of proficient management. Because of the uniqueness of the land the Assembly building and the legislature will be only one of its kind.
In her welcome address Principal Secretary Building Construction department Rajbala Verma
gave details of the three storied building which will spread over in three lakh square feet.
While the ground floor will spread out in 93,000 sq ft, the first floor will be of 11,400 sq ft and the top will also have an area of 93,000 sq ft.
She said that other office buildings in the Core capital area would come up keeping this building in the focus.
Ministers Rajendra Prasad Singh, Haji Hussain Ansarri, Annapurna Devi, Simon Marandi, Yogendra
Sao and Suresh Paswan also addressed the gathering.
