Cabinet approves ordinance for fixing B.Ed tuition fees in the state
Ranchi: Jharkhand Cabinet here on Tuesday gave approval to a proposal seeking promotion of assistant professors of the medical colleges in Jamshedpur (MGMCH) and Dhanbad (PMCH).
The Cabinet further approved a draft ordinance in accordance with Article 37 of the Jharkhand State University Act 2000 of Higher Technical Education and Skill Development Department for determining the tuition fees and admission process for private and government B.Ed colleges of Jharkhand State.
In other major decisions, the Cabinet approved Rs 15.76 crore for the establishment of a degree level college in the assembly constituency of the state where there is no affiliated college. A total amount of Rs. 1,10,38,97,200 has been approved for the establishment of seven degree colleges across the state.
In other decisions, the proposal for acceptance of amendment in the current imposed assessment fee for the approved environmental clearance issued by DIAA and DEA related to minor minerals was approved. The revised rate of area of 1 acre of land for minor mineral is Rs. 5000 which was earlier Rs 10,000. The revised rate of area of 1 acre to 2.5 acre is 10,000 which was earlier Rs 50,000. For an area of 2.5 acre to 5 acre, the revised rate is 25,000 which was earlier Rs 1,00,000.
The Cabinet has also approved a proposal for the establishment of Fisheries Farmers Training Center in the state. Further, on the payment of total of Rs. 1,76,597 for 0.115 acres of land of Sahibganj zone of Sahibganj district, Indian Inland Waterways Authority has been approved to make permanent land transfer for construction of IWTT road.
Sources said under the Department of Higher Technical Education and Skill Development and the World Bank’s laid-off Polytechnic Education Strengthening Project, the teachers and non-teaching staff appointed on the basis of contract will get revised pay according to 6th pay commission and these teachers and non-teaching staff’s extension of service in the financial year 2017-18 is approved.
