Ranchi: Chief Minister today said that no problems would come on the way of setting up new industries.
Assuring the industrialists he said that Jharkhand has tremendous possibilitie for new industries. Das urged the investors to contact him with the proposals or send their teams for discussions on the issue. Chief Minister was addressing Prabasi Bharatiya Diwas being held at Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat.
Addressing the NRI meet Raghuvar Das said that Jharkhand is richest in terms of mineal deposists and rich natural resources.
Jharkhand provides 30 percent of minerals to the country which include Coal, Iron, Buxite, Pirite, and Uranimum. It is because of government’s priority in industries that big houses including Tata Steel, Bokaro Steel, Electro Steel and Jindal Steel are working in the State.
Das said that Jharkhand produces about 19 million Tonne of Steel which is 20 percent of steel produced in the country. Jharkhand is a preferred destination due to the fact that it has good connectivity, quality institutions, minerals, industry infrastructre and vast human resources.
Clearing apprehensions of ultra extremim Das said that extremism is not a problem in Jharkhand. Abasence of delopment breeds ultra extremism, he opined. He assures improvement of law and order in the State within next three months.
The Chief Minister was accompained by chief secretary, Sajal Chakraborty, energy secretary, commercial tax secretary, MR Meena, and mining secretary Arun Kumar.
