Ranchi: Jharkhand Vikas Morcha president Babulal Marandi today alleged that the Central government had done great injustice to the state by not giving it a special package. He said he had raised the issue in the Jharkhand Assembly and had called for a bandh on 2nd March on the issue. He said a procession will be taken out on the eve of the bandh. He said the issue will be taken to the people in the Lok Sabha election.
Marandi told mediapersons during a press conference on Sunday that only 34 per cent of the total funds allotted to Jharkhand for various development projects had been spent so far. He further said that there had been a spurt in crime in the last one year.
