Ranchi: Yoga guru Baba Ramdev today said that both Hindus and members of the minority community have accepted Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi as the right candidate for the post of Prime Minister.
He was speaking during the inauguration of Namo Patang Mahotsava (kite festival) at Argora Maidan in the state Capital on the occasion of Makar Sankranti.
He said the Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi was not fully Indian as half of his DNA had ‘Italian’ links.
Addressing a gathering on the occasion, Sanjay Seth, organizer of the festival, said the purpose of the kite festival was to link the youths to the culture of India. He said the age old tradition of flying kite was gradually becoming obsolete.
More and more people should make efforts to stay connected with their tradition and culture, he said.
The kite flyers were provided with special ‘Narendra Modi’ and ‘Ramdev’ kites.
Ramdev said actor Salman Khan too, had enjoyed flying kite with Narendra Modi.
“Now Salman Khan has shown that Modi is the right choice by flying kite with him. Both Hindus and minority community have accepted Modi as the PM candidate,” said Ramdev.
