Ranchi : Chief Minister Hemant Soren has expressed grief over the demise of Sudhir Mahato. He said that the last rites of Mahto will be held with full state honours in which party supremo Shibu Soren alongwith him will also participate.
In his condolence, Chief Minister described the sudden demise of Mahto as an irreparable loss for the state and the party organisation.
‘Sudhir Mahto’s life was dedicated for Jharkhand and his party,’ Mr Soren said adding that Mahto worked to further spreading the thoughts and principles of Nirmal Mahto, an eminent figure in the state’s separate-hood movement.
He also appealed the youth of the state to play an active role in order to fulfill the dreams their elders.
The Chief Minister said that he prayed to the almighty to give strength to the family members of the leader to overcome his absence.
