Ranchi, Feb. 29: Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Monday said the one’s state of happiness depends on his or her.
According to the CM, the government endeavors to make Jharkhand a healthy state.
When people receive service without expectation, they will be free from anxiety and become happy. He said that the government is endeavoring to provide all amenities to the people and make them healthy. The Chief Minister was speaking at the inaugurating “Uddan-United Dialogue and Action against Non-Communicable Disorders” at Hotel Chanakya BNR.
In order to make people aware against non-communicable disorders, a pilot project will be run at Kanke block, Das said.
The Chief Minister added that the culture and civilization of India became incomparable because of its association with nature. “The closer we come to nature, the healthier we become.”
Discussing modern way of living, the CM laid stress on adhering to Indian life style. He said those undisciplined and irregular lifestyles are the causes of illness.
He appealed to the aanganbadi workers, sevikas and sahiayas to visit the villages nearby and make the women aware about proper diet. He said that the mother’s health is linked with the health of newborn baby.
The Government of Jharkhand, Project Hope, Boston Scientific and Vikash Bharati are jointly conducting the Uddan Program. Health minister Ramchandra Chandravansi, Padmashree Ashok Bhagat, Kanke MLA Jitu Charaqn Ram, MD, National Poshan Mission Mridula Sinha, Vice-President of Project Hope Linda Hazeman, Pralab Chakraborty of Boston Scientific and regional director of South East Asia Dr. L.K. Palo were present in this program.
