Ranchi, Nov 1: Coal India Limited / CCL celebrated its 39th foundation day with prosperity & happiness. On the occasion Nag said that company has easily met its annual target of 53.5 Million Tonnes of coal.

He also admitted that the Coal Stock of CCL have been decreased to 6.4 Million Tonnes, which is a matter of gladness. Also Shri Nag appreciated the works of CSR Scheme which is being widely followed up.

Also he informed about the new & advanced techiniques which are being used for our Coal Miners not only to make their work easier but much faster.

Addressing the gathering, Director (Personnel) said that total coal production has reached to 48 Million and it is assumed to reach about 53 Million Tonnes this fiscal year.

Also He had appreciated the work of CSR and said that about 4800 employee of the Company are Brand Ambassdor. He admitted that about 3667 employees were given promotion and 1427 statutory personnel will be appointed this year.

Drawing Competition, Painting Competition were held in Ghandhi Nagar Club in which 250 students of different 20 schools of Ranchi participated. D.K Ghose, Director(Fin) was the Chief Guest for the ceremony.

The winners of group “A” for “Mere Sapney” were Arpit Kumar of DAV Hehal, Ankit Kumar of DPS & Bhumika of DAV International and group “B” for the subject of “Happiness” were Nupur Neha of DAV Ghandhi Nagar, Shreya Banerjee of DPS and Soumya Sanyal of DAV Kapildev respectively.
Blood donating drive collects 55 units
Blood Donating Camp was organised at Ghandhi Nagar hospital in which 55 persons donated blood voluntarily.

The contribution of Swami Sahajanand Saraswati samiti, Pratity Foundation and Ward commssioner’Ranchi ward-2 was commendable in organzing this camp.The camp was inaugurated by Director (Pers.) Mr.K K Mishra.

75 benefit from free health camp free health camp was organized by CCL doctors Dr. Manju Mishra,Dr.Kadambini and para medical staff at Lupungtoli and 75 villagers were given free medical treatment with medicine.

A similar medical camp was organized at Semar Toli by Dr.Hemant Kerketta,Dr.Anita and Dr.RK Ssingh and 70 villagers treated and given medicine free of cost. Iron and Calcium tablets were distributed among the female villagers.

Nina Nag wife of SriTK Nag,Dir(T/Opns) and Smt Anita Mishra, wife of Sri RR Mishra accompanied with Smt. Rekha Singh,HOD(p/EE), members of Jawhar Nagar Mahila club and members of CCL,WIPS visited CCL’s Central hospital,Gandhinagar,Cheshaire Home,Netrahin Valika Vidyalaya and Old Age home at Bariatu,Ranchi and distributed fruits and sweets among the admitted patient at Gandhinagar hospital and among the inmates of Cheshair hoe,Netrahin Valika Vidyalaya and Old age home.
Football match organized
A football match between CCL and MECON was organized at Gandhinagar colony maidan in which MECON defeated CCL by 3-0. S/Sri BandhanTirkey Vikash Kachhap and Nirmal Kerketta scored one goal each.

Women players(employee) of CCL i.e. Rashmi Kumari,Pushpa Tirkey,Sunita Marandi,JHalo Kumari and Sandhya Kumari were felicitated during the occasion.

Sri TK Nag,Director(Tech/Oprns) was present as Chief guest while Sri RR Mishra, Director(Pers) and Smt.Vishmita Tej,CVO,CCL,Sri RP Thakur,CGM(ons),Sri B Trivedi, GM(Admn) were present as guest of honour.
