Ranchi No Comments on CM assures Jharkhand people of good governance on foundation day 419

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has congratulated the people of Jharkhand on the occasion of foundation day anniversary of the state. He said the state government was running many development and welfare projects for the people.

It is the responsibility of the administration of each district to ensure that the benefits of the government plans reach as expected to the people.

He said the awareness of the people was also important for the success of government schemes. He said many people were ignorant about the government schemes which aim at providing financial help to the people.

This is why the government wants that the citizens come forward and become vigilant about their rights. If the people are aware, middlemen will not succeed in their aims, he said.

“The government wants to ensure transparency in governance and provide benefits of government schemes to the people. If people do not get the benefits, they should not sit back.

Rather they should contract the public representatives, bureaucrats and employees of government departments at block or district level. When the deputy commissioner fails to do justice, such people should contact me directly. They can meet me at the CM’s public complaint cell in Ranchi at Kanke Road Secretariat.

If they fail to meet me, they can give in writing their complaints and submit the same with the employees present. If people are unable to come personally, they can send their complaints by post at my address,” said the CM.

The CM has appealed to the people to come forward against corruption and make an all-out effort to nip it in the bud wherever possible.

He said the government was with the people and that it was committed to support honest and sincere people. He said he will be taking stern action against corrupt officials.
