Ranchi: Chief Secretary Rajbala Verma today said during the state formation day celebrations in the state the government would try to showcase the development and progress made under Chief Minister Raghubar Das.
Reviewing the progress of work as part of preparations for organising the state formation day function at Morabadi Grounds on November 15, she said since President Ramnath Kovind is participating in the event therefore it has become more significant.
The CS said the government and the people were excited by his visit. She said that November 15 was not only about the state formation day but it was also the birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda therefore no efforts would be left to make the function a memorable one. She asked the officials to make sure that the common people do not have any problem during the function.
Verma said during the function appointment letters would be distributed by the president and other dignitaries and beneficiaries of the various schemes would also be felicitated during the function. She said on the occasion foundation laying for various schemes would be done by many projects would also be inaugurated and people would be apprised about the future schemes of the government.
Verma directed the officials that separate arrangements should be made for the beneficiaries of the various projects so that they do not face any trouble as people from various districts of the state would also be participating in the programme. She said the state government wanted to ensure participation of all in the programme and asked the officials to dispense their duties accordingly.
The CS said the stage should be properly maintained.
Among those present on the occasion also included DGP D K Pandey, Home Secretary SK G Rahate and other officials.
