Ranchi: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and former Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda today alleged that the Congress party was trying to exploit Jharkhand in a bid to rule over the country. He said the party was function with contradictory policies inherent in its organization.
Flaying the Congress on the eve of Vijay Sankalp rally of party’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, Munda said the recent crisis of sand in the state had resulted in the abrupt shutdown of construction projects and building of basic infrastructure in the state.
“The BJP will launch satyagraha with the people of the state against the sand crisis created by the Congress. We will not sit back and tolerate the current situation. After all, it is affecting the prospects of lakh of people,” said Munda.
In the Jharkhand Assembly, Munda alleged that the Congress had lost its character as it was running a government with likeminded people. He said the feelings of the people of the state were being hurt as a result of the whimsical way of functioning of the state government.
Rubbishing allegations of the state Congress president Sukhdev Bhagat that black money was being used to organize Modi’s rally in Ranchi, Munda said many companies running in the state with the support of the Congress were now at the verge of closure. Many investors have migrated from the state to other places. The law and order situation, too, has deteriorated, he alleged.
