Ranchi: The reorganization of the Jharkhand State Women’s Commission has been issued by the state government. Dr Mahua Maji has been appointed the chairperson while Shabnam Parveen and Kiran Kumari have been nominated members of the Commission.
Dr Maji is a well-known literary figure of the state. She has written many novels and books. She is originally from Ranchi. She is M.A in Sociology and also a Ph.D awardee. She met Chief Minister Hemant Soren and assured to do full justice to the cause of women. The CM has congratulated Dr Maji on her appointment.
