Jamshedpur, Feb 21: Two days 48th Annual Lions District Conference of Lions Clubs International, Lions District 322 A is going to held at the Auditorium of Motilal Nehru Public School from Saturday, Feb 22.
Lions District 322 A covers nineteen revenue districts of Jharkhand and six revenue districts of Bihar and has 2800 members. It has 70 Lions Clubs.
The annual conference is likely to be attended by 350 plus Lion members including many senior leaders from other parts of the country and several Past District Governors. The conference will be inaugurated by Lion Naresh Aggarwal from New Delhi who is also a Past International Director and Second International Vice President (Endorse) from India.
During the two days conference different business sessions will be held. On 22 February Fourth Cabinet Meeting of the District will be held which will be chaired by District Governor, Lion Sushma Trivedi from 11. 45 AM. Post lunch session will have the evaluation examination of Club President, Club Secretary, Clubs Treasurer, Zone Chairpersons and Region Chairpersons.
Most interesting session of Banner Presentation will start at 4 PM on the first day in which all the participating 70 Lions Clubs will parade in front of Lions Leaders with their respective club banner in colourful attire carrying placards highlighting their different service activities.
The inauguration session will begin at 6.30 PM on the first day which will be inaugurated by Lion Naresh Aggarwal and attended by Lion Rajiw Lochan, Multiple Council Chairperson of Eastern India, where policy matters will be deliberated and discussed.
On 23 February Second Business session will begin at 10 AM with Peace Prayer and Necrology ceremony in which homage is paid by the Lions Fraternity to their departed souls. The session will be followed by Election for the post of Second Vice District Governor.
During the conference several awards will be presented to Lion members for their distinguished services over the years. Many clubs will also be participating the Photography contest by projecting their service activities through display of photographs.

Our country falls under Constitutional Area ISAAME (India, South Asia, Africa & Middle East). Country has seven Multiples covering four corners and the Eastern zone comes under Multiple 322. Multiples gets further divided into district and Jharkhand falls in District 322 A
