Jamshedpur, April 29 : The Heritage Club of ADLS Sunshine School celebrated the Heritage Day in the school premises on Saturday.
The inception of the club this year marked several events. The celebration began on April 28. Inter house power point presentation competition was also organised on the occasion.
Each house presented two presentations and the best three were selected. The topics of the ppt included Indian History from 1857 to 1947.
Many events were lined up for the day. A cultural program was staged followed by a ppt on Heritage sites in India. This was followed by the talk show ‘Unity in Diversity’. A dance paying tribute was also given to the Indian Soldiers. This was followed by a fashion show on the different states of India.
‘Know your city’ a quiz show was also held during the day. The students were informed about the History of ADL Society which will soon be completing its centenary in September 2018.
The program ended with a pledge taken by the students to protect their Heritage. The main attraction of the day was the exhibition which was put up showing monuments, old coins and clay models.
