Jamshedpur: A seminar of women labourers belonging to the Scheduled Caste was organized by the Central Board of Workers Education, Jamshedpur in collaboration with South Karandih Gram Panchayat and Asha Kiran Mahila Samiti on Monday at the community building in Matladih under Jamshedpur block.
Around 40 women participated in the seminar. The programme was inaugurated by the education officer of CBWE Pashupati Nath Sah. Sah stressed the need for workers’ awareness.
He asked the women to know more about their rights and become aware. He informed them about the various government schemes being run for the welfare of workers, especially women.
