Jamshedpur, Feb 23: Rajnish Kumar, Senior Manager, Societies, Tata Steel and a very senior and committed lion member of Lions Clubs International has been elected as the Second vice District Governor of Lions District 322 A, comprising Jharkhand and part of Bihar. He got elected at the 48th Annual District Conference that concluded today at Motilal Nehru Public School, Jamshedpur in which more than 350 Lions members across the District 322 A participated.
He will taking over the District Governorship in the year 2016-17 whose office of oath will be delivered to him in Japan. He is the first person from Tata Steel to get elected to this prestigious post.
A Gold Medallist in Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management from Indira Gandhi National Open University, MJF Lion Rajnish Kumar is associated with Tata Steel for more than two decades and has worked in various capacities at Dhanbad, Ranchi and Jamshedpur.
An avid Social Worker, he is associated with many social and voluntary organisations at Local, District & State level in various capacities. He is also a Member of Jharkhand State Inter Media Publicity Coordination Committee, Member, and State Government Monitoring Committee on Disability Management.
