Jamshedpur: A CRPF jawan identified as Vijay Singh Khanna was stabbed to death by his colleague Brajesh Tiwary at Thalkobad under Kiriburu police station area in West Singhbhum on Tuesday. Both jawans were posted in Battalion 197.
The incident was triggered following a spat between the two over celebrating Holi. As the fight grew hot, Tiwary stabbed Khanna and injured him critically. Khanna was taken to Kiriburu General Hospital where he succumbed to injuries.
In another incident, two Railway Protection Force jawans were injured in a brawl in Chakradharpur. They were taken to Tata Main Hospital.
