Jamshedpur : BJP leader Amarpreet Singh Kale criticized finance minister P. Chidambaram’s interim budget and called it “mere eye wash”. He also slammed the finance minister over his remarks on black money. “Mere lip-service by the FM on the return of black money; UPA’s lack of commitment towards bringing black money was on display yet again!” he said. Kale accused the Government for taking ‘inadequate steps’ to control price rise.
He said that the common man in the country was reeling under inflation. The economic policies of the Centre were anti-poor,” he noted He went on to add that it was the result of the failure of the Government’s economic policies that prices of wheat, rice, sugar, dal price have doubled in the past few months.
