Ranchi : Jharkhand stands at the 33rd place in the country in implementing the Midday Meal Scheme.
This information came to the fore in a survey conducted by the Central government to ascertain the situation of states in terms of implementation of the Midday Meal Scheme.
The Central government had given approval to implement the said scheme in the state for a total 35 lakh children for the year 2013-14.
