Ranchi, Feb 18: A meeting of High Powered Steering Committee on Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Vidyutikaran Yojana (RGGVY) today reviewed the implementation of second phase of the scheme in different districts. At the meeting held at the Project Building the Chief Secretary R.S. Sharma emphasized on expediting the clearance processes for various schemes. The RGGVY covers the electrification of villages with population around 100-300. The meeting also reviewed the replacement of burnt transformers under scheme.
At the meeting Principal Secretary Energy B.K. Tripathi, Principal Secretary Forest Alka Tiwari, Rural Development Secretary Arun, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests A. K. Malhotra and Chairman of Jharkhand State Electricity Board S.N. Verma along with other officials were present.
