Jamshedpur, Nov 27: A bicycle rider died on the spot after being hit by a tractor near Barbil chowk in Seraikela-Kharsawan main road under Sadar police station on Wednesday evening.
According to reports the deceased a 50 year old Banvihari Gope man was a resident of Bhutkuli Village of the district. Gope was a daily wage earner who on a routine basis returned back to his home on a bicycle.
Soon the villagers hit the road and jammed it where village head said that it is a very sad incident, we will press administration for compensation to the family of the deceased, added village head.
