Jamshedpur, March 4: After Chief Minister Hemant Soren continues to facing the wrath of the Marwari community for his alleged comments that the community did not play any role in separate state movement. Peeved over his comments several organisations protested against him and seek immediate apology.
President of Jamshedpur Citizen Forum, A K Srivastava in a letter to Hemant Soren, said that the comments made are not against a community but against a business community of the state. On one hand the government is inviting investment in the state and on the other hand by commenting is making life difficult for the already invertors in the state.
Srivastava condemned the comment and hoped these should not be repeated again by CM. “The Marwaris have always been working for the progress of the State and the CM has insulted us by making such immature comments,” said Srivastava. It may be noted that after Chief Minister Hemant Soren alleged comments on Marwaris , members of the community staged demonstration at Jugsalai, Sakchi and Ranchi and burnt effigies of the CM.
They protested that Soren should have think twice before making such irresponsible comments
against the community.
