Jamshedpur : In a road mishap a 14-year-old girl was seriously injured when she was hit by a truck at Pardih near Mango under Kapali Thana Outpost on Tuesday morning.
The victim identified as Ruby Kumari is a student of Class VII of a government school at Pardih. As the mishap took place, the victim was rushed to the MGM Medical College and Hospital.
Considering her serious condition, the doctors on emergency duty at the medical college hosptial referred her to the Tata Main Hospital. She was soon rushed to the Tata Main Hospital.
Rajeshwar Sahu, the father of the victim said that the waist area of his daughter sustained serious fractures due to the injuries.
Sahu, who is a mason by profession, said that he had never thought that his daughter may fall victim to a road mishap while going to the school as she is a disciplined girl.
Officer-in-charge, Kapali TOP, Pervez Alam confirmed about the mishap, but said that the truck is yet to be seized. ” We are investing into the incident.
We will soon take the necessary action against the driver and the truck,” said the officer-in-charge. Alam, also claimed that the road where the mishap took place does not have a busy traffic.
