Jamshedpur, July 16: Jharkhand Vikas Morcha general secretary Abhay Singh Tuesday alleged that workers were being exploited in the constituency of Jamshedpur East MLA cum Chief Minister Raghubar Das. He said many workers of private companies were not getting work even for 20 days a month. In such a situation, it has become difficult for the workers to run their families, he said.
Singh said the workers were being exploited under the nose of Chief Minister. He said the district administration should take prompt measures to improve the situation and provide relief to the workers.
“The workers are feeling insecure and helpless. There is no one on the government’s side to take care of their woes. This is why the JVM has decided to raise their issues,” said Singh.
Assailing BJP MP and MLAs, Singh said they were not willing to do anything in favour of workers due to their preoccupation with their party agenda.
Singh said JVM will organize a public meeting at Tata Motors gate on 23rd July. If things do not work out favourably, a massive stir would be launched, he said.
