Gamharia: To ensure cent percent voting, the district administration has directed all departments to launch awareness campaigns in far and near areas under its jurisdiction.

Today the Child development Project department conducted an awareness campaign at Muriya Panchayat. Women, especially those physically challenged were informed about the importance of elections and casting of votes. They took a pledge to observe all aspects of the Model Code of Conduct and cast their votes fearlessly.

Simultaneously, in keeping with the observance of Nutrition Week, women and children underwent health checkup. Vaccination was also provided.

Among those present during the drive included observer Veena Kumari, PRP Pramila Mahto, Mukhiya Savita manjhi, ANM Sunita Kumari, Anganwadi Sevika Manibala mahto, Sanju Mandal, Aruna Sardar, Parvati Mardi, Champa Murmu, Sahaika Ansura Begum, Lali Mahto, Sukumari Nayak and many other women and physically challenged people.
