Jamshedpur, March 22: While there was joy in the air for all Indians anywhere and everywhere, the milieu at Cheshire Home was very special for the special residents here.
Sister Philomena, Head of Cheshire Home reflected the joy of her special wards as she beamed watching her children and guests making merry amidst nature’s paintings of flowers and the immaculate green of the shady lawn. The epicenter of Holi merriment of course was Pappu ‘Bhaiya,’ the great Madhuri Dixit fan whose social initiatives in divergent fields are well known. To Pappu Sardar, the matinee star is his sister who tied a Rakhi, the sacred thread of brother-sister relationship on his wrist. Pappu is a favourite at Cheshire Home for the quality time he spends with the special wards, ensuring happiness in their lives.
Pappu celebrated Holi with these brothers and sisters of his and it was a sight to see the children applying Holi colours on each other. Guests who had come to visit Cheshire Home could not resist the atmosphere of gaiety and joined the fun. It was indeed a special moment with the special people at the special place – Cheshire Home.
