Demands eight seats for Agarwal Samaj in Assembly polls
Jamshedpur : National President of Akhil Bharatiya Agarwal Sammelan Gopal Sharan Garg has demanded from the BJP to give party tickets to members of the society for at least eight seats in the upcoming assembly elections in Jharkhand. He claimed that out of 81 seats in Jharkhand, there are 12 seats on which members of the Aggarwal Samaj can win, but even if the party fields candidates from right seats, the victory would be certain. He was interacting with reporters at the Sakchi Agrasen Bhavan during his stay in the city today.
Garg said that if members of the business class reach the assembly, they will prove to be helpful in formulating trade, industry and export policy. Jharkhand will get industry which will remove unemployment and the state will further develop.
Garg has urged BJP to field candidates from Vaishya community on 14 seats from Haryana and 10 from Maharashtra. He said that he has submitted a memorandum to the party’s national president Amit Shah on this issue and will soon meet State Chief Minister Raghubar Das and party’s state president Laxman Giluwa to inform them about their issues.
Keeping in mind the interest of the traders, Garg also demanded the Government to set up the Merchant Welfare Board and Commission at the Central level in all the states of the country. He said that on many such occasions, traders are deprived of getting government compensation, the board can help them get this right.
Apart from this, he has also demanded the government to declare a government holiday on Agrasen Jayanti and name any government establishment in the name of Agrasen Maharaj. On the occasion, the state president of the organization Basant Kumar Mittal said that Bhagwat Katha is being launched in Jharkhand from Jamshedpur, which will be organized by the organization from time to time in all the districts of the state., Acharya Narmada Shankar Guruji, State President of the organization Basant Kumar Mittal, District President Santosh Aggarwal, Prabha Padia, Mahavir Aggarwal etc. were present in the press conference.
Earlier Gopal Sharan Garg interacted with members of various institutions of Marwari Samaj to expand the organization. On the occasion, Gopal Sharan Garg threw light on the biography of Ashok Modi, Lata Aggarwal, Omprakash Ringasia, Bajrang Lal Aggarwal, Arun Bankrewal, Kamalakant Aggarwal, Sanwarmal Agarwal, Mohanlal Agarwal, Balmunkad Goyal, Anil Modi, Pankaj Chavcharia, Pooja Singhal, Kavita Agarwal. A number of Marwari Sammelan, Agrawal Mahila Sammelan and Agrawal Yuva Manch were present. The program was successfully conducted by Mahavir Aggarwal.
