Jamshedpur: Around 10 to 15 elephants (Tusker) wreaked havoc late yesterday night in Pokada village under Chowka police station area.
They demolished a house belonging to one Rakal Karmakar while injuring him badly. Karmakar said he and his family members were sleeping when the pachyderms broke into his house.
Several other houses were also razed down by the elephants. Crops of tomato were also destroyed by the beasts.
