Jamshedpur: On day 4 of the Shrimad Bhagvat Katha Saptah Gyan Yagya at Vasundhra Estate on NH-33 on Sunday, Vraj Nandan Shastri Ji Maharaj from Vrindavan (SrikrishnaPremRas Avatar) in his melliflu­ous voice spoke about the birth narrative context of Sri Ram and Sri Krishna (Nandotsav) and informed about the various forms of God through tableau.

Devotees in large numbers enjoyed supernatural birth story of Sri Krishna. Vraj Nandan Shastri further informed that ‘Happiness is God’.

‘We get comfort and luxury from the resources in the world but not happiness; we can get happiness only by worshiping god and chanting his name’, Vraj Nandan Shastri said.

On the fifth day of the religious pro­gramme on Monday, narration of Sri Krishna Bal Leela and Govardhan Leela will be held.

The event is being hosted by Kiran Sharma, Uma Shankar Sharma, Kripa Shankar Sharma, Krishna alias Kali Sharma, Jay Prakash Sharma, Vishwanath Sharma, Ravindra Kumar, Girija Shankar Sharma, Santosh Sharma, Anil, Ramanand Sharma and devotees in large numbers were present.

Guests present were Umesh Kauntia, Prabhakar Singh, Nandkishore Agarwal, Vikas Singh, Ranki Singh, Sonu Bindra, Amrendra Paswan, Rajesh Sahu, Manoj Singh, Prashant Singh, Sanjiv Kumar, Pappu Singh, Amar Singh, Balbir, Vijay, Sumit Sharma, Om Prakash, Pintu and others.

The religious programme will continue till January 1, a Bhandara will be held on the concluding day of the programme. Vraj Nandan Shastri Ji Maharaj from Vrindavan presents Bhagwat Katha, which is consid­ered as an ultimate remedy to overcome miseries, daily at 3 pm till January 1.

Earlier on Wednesday, colourful procession comprising mostly women devotees started after the recitation of Vedic mantras. The Kalash Yatra (procession with individuals carrying pots of sacred water) also included a flower bedecked chariot on which the beautifully decorated statues of Radha and Krishna were carried and floats depicting the various episodes of the Bhagwath captured the attention of people on the roads through which the procession passed.
