Jamshedpur, Jan 19: The four day long celebrations at Bharat Sevashram Sangh came to a close on Sunday with an assurance to make the festivity grander from next year.
Several events were lined up on the last day of the 63rd Trishul Utsav and 118th birth anniversary of Swami Pranavananda, founder of Bharat Sevashram Sangha on Sunday, Jan 19.
The day began with began with Mangalarati, recitation from Shrimad Bhagwad Gita and Shri Shri Sangha Gita at 4 in the morning.
Bhajan Kirtan was also organized on the occasion. At around 10 am Vaidik Vishwa Shanti Yagna also arranged in the Sangh campus in Sonari where Swami Sashwatanandaji Maharaj, Joint Secretary of Sangh shared light on the importance of Yagna.
In the afternoon Mahabhog was distributed among devotees by Sannyasins were large crowd was present. Students of Bharat Sevashram Sangha Pranab Children World presented a cultural program and prizes were given to the participants of several events.
Later in the day Hindu Dharma Siksha Sanskriti Sammelan was organized and the subject for the event was Message of Srimat Swami Pranavananda on Religion.
Eminent personalities were part of the Sammelan were the teachings and life of Swami were discussed. AK Srivastav, President of Chamber of Commerce, Seraikela-Khatsawan was one of the speakers of the event. Swami Sanatananandaji, Secretary of Sangh, Jamshedpur.
Heroic Puja Arati was also performed on the occasion and the celebrations concluded with Devotional Song by Sampa Kundu, Television and Radio Artist from Kolkata.
