TMH to recognise its ‘corona warriors’ 

Jamshedpur, Sept. 26: The recovery rate of COVID-19 patients at Tata Main Hospital ( TMH) has improved from 81.12 per cent to 82.38. A senior official of the hospital informed that the situation of COVID-19 is improving in the city. While last week 243 patients were admitted this week the numbers reduced to 201. The positive sign of improvement is also reflected from the fact that the hospital so far has conducted 47808 tests out of which the positivity in RPCTR tests have reduced from 30 per cent to 18.4 per cent and Antigen Test 9 per cent to 5.19 per cent.

Dr Rajan Choudhry, advisor, TMH and former general manager, medical services, Tata Steel also said that the cases are now getting under control but next few weeks will remain crucial to make a final judgement on the status of the virus. While last week 243 patients were admitted this week the numbers reduced to 201. About 217 patients were discharged. Moreover, 52 patients from 80 years and above have been discharged so far. This week alone 7 patients were discharged.

Answering the queries of the media, Dr Choudhry said that about 58 doctors of TMH are down with the coronavirus. The hospital has plans to felicitate its corona warriors once the virus is completely over.    

He went on to inform that the recovery of COVID-19 patients at one of the largest hospitals in Jharkhand, Tata Main Hospital ( TMH) has improved. Dr Rajan Choudhry  said that the hospital is providing the best services to the people of Jharkhand. However, they too can cater to patients to a certain amount.

Meanwhile, in order to help worried family members get every detail of their COVID patient admitted at the hospital, the city’s biggest health hub, Tata Main Hospital ( TMH) has decided to re-launch its app TMH Vishwas with added features. Officials of TMH on Saturday informed that now even non-employee of Tata Steel download the app and get every detail of their patient through it.  

“ Sensing the need of the COVID patients, we have reworked the app. TMH Vishwas will now be available for every citizen. They will get every detail of their COVID patient being treated at the hospital. The app will provide health status of the patient. We have revamped the app and it will be available in the next three days for the citizens,” said
