Jamshedpur, Dec. 10: In a shocking incident a three-year-old boy was allegedly abducted by a 19-year-old woman from Pramothnagar at Parsudih on Sunday evening. The child’s mother Sumita Agrawal has lodged an FIR with the Parsudih police station today.

The accused, Sonia Lohar, who is former tenant of Agrawal has abducted to use the victim as a tool to patch with her husband Madhu Lohar who has abandoned her since last one year.

After the FIR was lodged by Sumita at 1 am today, the police had succeeded to trace the victim somewhere in Bokaro, but the accused has told the mother and the police that she is using the child only after she is reunited with her husband Madhu Lohar.

Meanwhile, a team of police officials from Parsudih left for Bokaro with the parents of the abducted child late this afternoon.

OC, Parsudihpolice station, Animesh Gupta confirmed about the abduction of the three-year-old child, but said that the victim has been traced.

“During the investigation we were able to locate the child. We are in contact with the accused Sonia Lohar who has gone away to a relative’s house in Bokaro having abducted the child. We have sent a team of police to recover the child and the parents of the victim have also accompanied the police team,” said Gupta.
A mother of four children, Sumita resides at Pramothanagar in Parsudih. Her husband Kailash Agrawal has a small transport business.

“We never expected her to act like this. We are in state of shock. On Sunday evening while we was searching for Govind, our eldest son, Rupam told me that he had seen him in the lap of Sonia aunty. After searching for Govind, we got a call from around midnight that he was with Sonia. We were first told that she (Sonia) was in Rourkela, but past midnight we contacted Sonia’s elder sister Noviya we were told that she is in Bokaro,” said Sumita.
