Jamshedpur: An autorickshaw on the Adityapur-Kandra route was hit by a Haiwa near the Sudha Dairy early morning today injuring three of the five passengers including the driver who narrowly escaped unhurt along with another passenger. The police arrived shortly and had the three injured persons admitted to MGM Hospital where their treatment is going on. Two of the injured are truck drivers Abdul Samad and Wasim Ahmad from Bhadoi district’s Gopiganj in Uttar Pradesh. They had come to Gamharia with their truck two days earlier. They had gone to Adityapur to send a courier post to Varanasi. They were returning to Gamharia in the autorickshaw when the mishap took place. The other injured passenger, Nada Sardar of Kandra said that the accident occurred near the Sudha Dairy plant in the morning. Sardar has received injuries on his feet. He informed that there were five people in the autorickshaw. The driver of the vehicle and another passenger had a miraculous escape in the accident.
