Jamshedpur, Feb 23: The Pran Prathishtha and inauguration ceremony of the Teen Devi Mandir on Thakurbari Road constructed by Satyanarayan Marwari Thakurbari Trust in Rajasthani art form got underway from February 20 and the rituals will continue till February 27 and conclude with the distribution of consecrated food among the gathering of devotees.

Addressing the media on the fourth day, today of the Mahotsav, managing committee members informed that a procession carrying the idols of Goddesses Mahalakshmi, Anjani Mata and Rani Sati Dadiji that are to be installed and initiated in the Teen Devi Temple will be taken out from the Mandir premises on Tuesday, February 25 after worship at 8:15 am. The colourful procession will include floats depicting various segments of Vedic references to the deities, the sacred flame, Divya Jyot from Dadi’s abode at Jhunjhunu Mandir in Rajasthan, Baba Shyam’s Fagun Utsav in which devotees in the procession will sprinkle coloured flower petals along the route, Baba Shyam’s throne, the Lord’s flags (Nishaan) and devotional music. The procession will pass through major city routes before returning to the Teen Devi Mandir on Thakurbari Road.

The organizers further stated that the chief guest, Ayodhya’s chief priest and former parliamentarian Ram Vilas Vedant Maharaj would participate in the procession. The route will be lined up with members of the various Marwari community religious organizations who would be welcoming the procession and serving the devotees in the procession.

At the same time, the organizers comprising Trust officials, representatives of religious organizations and organizing committee officials asked devotees willing to carry Nishaans and participate in the procession to collect coupons from the Mandir office by Monday, February 24. All members of the Marwari community were urged to participate in the holy Yatra.
