Tata Motors plant to remain closed for three days from Nov 29

Jamshedpur No Comments on Tata Motors plant to remain closed for three days from Nov 29 82

Jamshedpur, Nov 25: Lack in demand forces the automotive manufacturer to take the decision, says report.

A slow market is good for no one, neither for the manufacturers nor the prospective buyers but it’s a responsible call by carmakers if they reduce production of the vehicles, in order to not create a large inventory, because in the current market conditions, it will prove difficult to clear.

Tata Motors too have done the same. A three day block closure (including Sunday) of the Jamshedpur plant from November 29 September till December 1st will be seen.

But unfortunately this is not the first time something like this has happened. Lack of demand of heavy commercial vehicles is said to be the primary reason.

The company should be issuing a circular in the plant and the employees are expected to resume their routine on December 2, 2013.
