Jamshedpur, Sept. 12: Students of the Steel City have once again proved their merit in the JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Mains, whose results were declared on Friday night. About 500 engineering aspirants from Jamshedpur qualified to appear in JEE Advanced. The National Testing Agency ( NTA) had conducted the exams from September 1 to 6. Several students have scored 99 percentile and above. Supriti Kumari has scored a national rank of 369 while Vinayak Srivastava achieved 732nd rank. Rohan Das with 99.922 percentile has scored 958th rank.
Daughter of an assistant manager at Tata Steel, Supreeti was a student of Rajendra Vidhyalaya, Sakchi and wants to pursue engineering from IIT.
Students who cracked JEE Mains will now appear for JEE Advanced. An official of Prerna Classes, a leading coaching centre for JEE in the city said that the eligibility for Advanced will only be the cut offs. We are still downloading the results and we are yet to analyse the same. I guess the low cut off this year has helped many students.
Meanwhile, Shyam Bhushan, director, Jamshedpur Center, Narayana said that the results of JEE (Main) -2020, a total of 243 students have achieved success so far for Advanced. In addition, a total of 81 students have secured the rank of All India rank fifty thousand under JEE (Main).

Shyam Bhushan informed that the preparation of Medical Competition Examination has also started in Narayana Jamshedpur, for which enrolment has started, in which good response is being received from parents and students.
