Jamshedpur, March 2: Jubilee Park along with all the major locations of Steel
city was illuminated after Ishaat Hussain Director Tata Sons pushed the button near the statue
of founder JN Tata on the 175th birth anniversary on Sunday, March 2.
Illumination at Jubilee Park, always an eye catcher for thousands of steel city residents and for the people of neighboring states which draws thousands on the celebration. The Jayanti Sarovar plays host to nine floats, each depicting activities related to the corporate social responsibility of the Tatas. An Eiffel Tower with the help of LED illumination will be a major eyecatcher.
Tomorrow, the main function will take place inside Tata Steel works, where all group companies
will pay homage to the founder on his birth anniversary, assembling near his statue at the works’ main gate. The Founders Day procession in this regard will begin at 7.00 am. The event will also include homage to JN Tata by all dignitaries Chairman Tata Group Cyrus Mistry, Ishaat Hussain Director Tata Sons, along with other dignitaries were a spectacular colourful pageantry will be organized.
This pageantry will be flagged off by Cyrus Mistry, Chairman, Tata Sons, in front of the
Founders Statue near General Post Office, Bistupur at 9.15 am on March 3. The pageantry will
include floats from Associate Companies, social organisations, RAF and JAP.
This will be followed by a befitting sporting tribute to the Founder, the Founders Day Sports
involving participation from Various Tata Group Companies and other will begin at Gopal Maidan at 1.00 pm on March 3, 2013.
Like last year, this year as well, there will be three displays of the Laser show and Musical
Fountain from 2nd March, 2013 to 6th March, 2013 on usual charges. Show timing will be – 1st Show – 7.00 pm, 2nd Show – 8.00 pm, 3rd Show – 9.00 pm.
