Jamshedpur, Aug. 18 : The stage is all set for the the second phase of ‘Momentum Jharkhand’ ground breaking ceremony tomorrow at GopalMaidan in Bistupur.
Union textile and information and broadcasting minister Smriti Iraniwill be the chief guest of the event. The event is going to pave way for new investment as two projects will be inaugurated while foundation stone will be laid for 70 projects during the function.
According to an estimate about 3,000 people, including senior corporate officials, MLAs and state MPs will attend the function. Mumbai-based Wizcraft Entertainment is arranging the event.
According to information there will be two-tier security arrangements in place for tomorrow’s second groundbreaking ceremony of projects whoseMoUs were signed during the Global Investors’ Summit in February.
City SP Jamshedpur PrashantAnand said that vehicular movement on all the important roads approaching GopalMaidan (Inner Circle Road, Kharkai Link Road, Gujarati SanatanSamaj Road, Bistupur-Sakchi Main Road and Sakchi Boulevard) will be prohibited between 8 am and 4 pm.
This apart, drop gates will be installed on the Sonari Airport Road stretch (between Sonari Airport till Circuit House roundabout) and also near Straight Mile Road (near Keenan Stadium).
Jharkhand industry director K Ravikumar on his arrival at Jamshedpur this evening said that chief minister and the Union ministers will be arriving on two separate state-owned helicopters from Ranchi.
“ We are happy with the arrangements made. The minister will be arriving through helicopters. Most of the state cabinet ministers will be arriving from Ranchi by road routes (through NH-33). The corporate people will also come by road routes,’ said the director.
“We have asked the district police to make elaborate traffic plans during the ceremony and also ensure full proof security arrangements in view of the visit of several Union ministers, chief minister and corporate honchos.
The event management firm will ensure that visitors do not face any problem due to foggy conditions at the ground in view of the rainy season. In fact, all the 30,000 sqft area of the German hangar pavilion will have wooden platform,” said an official.
Meanwhile, East Singhbhum civil surgeon, KalicharanMunda said that six ambulances will be kept for emergency at the venue along with a medical camp comprising four doctors and adequate number of paramedics.
