Jamshedpur, Aug 13: The Jeen Mata Parivar organized the deity’s Sindhara and Jhula Utsav today at Shiv Mandir in Golmuri was celebrated with devotion and gaiety. Devotees danced to Bhajans sung by the duo of Sunita and Govind Bharadwaj. The duo also recited from Jeen Mata’s Shakti Path.
The holy proceedings commenced with hosts Shankar Lal Agrawal (Mamaji) and his wife lighting the Jyot and worshipping the deity. The prayers were conducted by priest Mahesh Sharma. The Mangal Path recitation included 151 women devotees.
The main attractions in the Utsav were Ma Jeen Bhawani’s Jhula (swing) décor, Akhand Jyot, 56 items for consecration, Sindhara offerings to name a few. The programme which commenced with prayers concluded with Arti and consecrated food and Sindhara items distribution among devotees.
The managing committee included Parivar president Bajrang Lal Agrawal, founder Shambhu Khanna, Vinod Khanna, Shiv Bhagwan Moonka, Tulsi Khemka, Sitaram Debuka, Kamalkant Agrawal, Vijay Agrawal, Ashok Khandelwal, Suresh Khemka, Pramod Agrawal, Anant Agrawal, Uma Agrawal, Urmila Khanna, Manju Chowdhary, Anju Khanna, Chanda Chowdhary, Rama Devi, Jitendra Khemka, Anant Agrawal, Hitendra Khemka, Vijay Bajiya, Kailash Agrawal, Sunil Debuka, Asish Khanna and Manish Khanna along with Golmuri Shiv Mandir committee members Kailash Agrawal and Sitaram Agrawal.
