Jamshedpur, Nov. 4: Jamshedpur FC Reserve team will take on Royal FC in the 39th Edition of All India Governor’s Gold Cup Football Tournament to be played at Paljor Stadium in Gangtok on November 5. The team sweated it out during the training session ahead of their departure for Sikkim.
Players traveling for Governor’s Gold Cup include Raj Kumar Mahato (U18), Sudarshan Mahato(U18), Vijay Kumar, Baset Hansda, Umesh Perambera, Karandeep, Harsha Pauri, Nayan Tamang (U16), Billu Telli, Md.Shahjahan, Nabin Rana, Boxer Pradhan, Lalboilen Kilong, Marchstarfield, Gorachand Mardi, Y. Naresh Singh, Vimal Kumar, Prakash Naik, Gourab Mukhi and Aakash Dave.
Kundan Chandra (Head Coach), Adrian Dais (Asst Coach), Rohit Singh(Manager), Arghya Basu (Physiotherapist) and Praveen Kumar (Video Analyst) will be travelling with the team.
Organised by Sikkim Football Association the tournament kicked off on November 1 and will continue till November 12.
Twelve teams have been participating in the tournament.
Other participating teams are I-League club, Gokulam Football Club from Kerala, Punjab Police XI, Army [Red], Eastern Railways and Md Sporting Club, BSS Sporting Club, Kidderpore Sporting Club, Sikkim Himalayan Sporting Club and Sikkim Police.
