Jamshedpur, Nov. 6: Shyama Prasad Inter College thrashed Jusco School Kadma 10-0 in the final (Senior Boys Class XI – XII) to win the Reliance Foundation Youth Sports (RFYS) football tournament.

The finals of all categories were conducted at the Tinplate Sports Complex, Jamshedpur on Monday.

In the final of the (School Girls Class IX – XII) St. Roberts High School beat Shyama Prasad Inter College 4-0.

In the Junior Boys category Class VII – X Pro Vani Vidya Mandir overcame Manav Vikas High School by 3-0.

In the final of the College Boys category Abdul Bari Memorial College played a 2-2 draw against Co-Operative College.

The final of the tournament was graced by the Head of Grassroots and Youth Development, Kundan Chandra and Head of Operations at Jamshedpur FC, Raja Battacharjee.

With the club (Jamshedpur FC) committed to giving local talent a chance at the highest stage, Kundan Chandra said, “It’s encouraging to see so much enthusiasm about football across Jharkhand. It’s important to nurture our local talent and give them the stage to shine at the top level.” The club officials gratified all four winning team with tickets to the upcoming home game and with an official club ball.
