Seraikela A case of possible cybercrime has come up in the Seraikela Municipal area. Following a written complaint made by Gautam Kumar Pandit, resident of Ward No.6 Patnaik Tola, the police have started investigation.

In this regard, Gautam has lodged a complaint of illegal withdrawal of 13128 through Paytm from his Bank of Baroda account at Seraikela police station. He has said that on September 20, 2000 was sent by him to another account through Paytm. After which there was a withdrawal of 2000 from his account. But the one who had to transfer the money to the account did not reach the money. On September 22, when Gautam reached the Seraikela branch of Bank of Baroda, Gautam was advised to talk to Paytm’s customer care. So that information about the transaction can be provided.

On the advice of the branch manager, Gautam searched Google and found out the customer care number and talked on September 22. Soon after, there were 7658 withdrawals from Gautam’s bank account in the first and 5500 in the second time. In this regard, they have investigated and demanded to take appropriate action.
